There Is No God

In the beginning God created
Scriptures have so clearly stated
Stones and birds and things that crawl
God in His pleasure created them all

The moon and stars so far away
God put there on the fourth day
The sun and all the unseen worlds
Elephants and mice and even squirrels

Majestic mountains and the valleys below
Lumbering clouds and His own rainbow
Giant redwoods and the mighty seas
And finally from His heart He even made me

So seeing what is seen and knowing these things
I know in His wisdom He gave the birds wings
The psalmist wrote these words so true
There is no God, so saith the fool

Written December 2008. Given by the Spirit to be shared with all but claimed by none. All praise and glory belong to Him.
