Ok so i promised flosen id post a photo of the baby blanky im workin on. Its small simple crochet granny squares, done in a very fine cotton thread, pastel green and cream.

Tis a very simple pattern, but having not crocheted for a few years, I wanted to get back into the hang of it, before tryin a more ambitious project.

Im not finished yet tho, as i still have to add to the length and then do an edging and I also wanna line it with somethin supersoft, but this is a semi-finished photo, so ull see the ends of the threads all messy and stuff  Please excuse any cookie crumbs u may see on the bed too :P

Its my first baby blanky ever tho :) Hopefully should finish it this week or next, accordin to how time goes *dunno*

It is a beautiful piece of art lizzie!

It looks ever so warm and comfortable to wrap a baby in ... you can feel the softness of the lovely green color.

This blanket has value besides being a gift for some one's new born.
Imagine how it will be saved after that baby grows. Lovingly put away, gently to be brought out and remembered. To be used some day for their own sweet baby.
It will survive to become a treasured heirloom lizzie.

love your talent... thank you for sharing.

Yeahhhhh! a Crocheter! That blanket is beautiful. I crochet too but I haven't this year cause been busy knitting. At my Employers work site there are groups and a few years ago I join on called Chicks with Stick for knitters. It was not active so I open one for Happy Hookers for crocheters that too is not active but I'm a member of both so I say I'm a happy hooker chick with sticks Hee hee
