This is a hypothetical look at Christ leaving heaven to go to earth through the eyes of a man who saw a special vision during a dream. It's a long poem and I've been working on it for about a week. I hope you enjoy it.

I had a dream one quiet night about a week ago
In my dream I asked the Lord one thing I wished to know
What took place when heaven bade its sweet farewell to Christ
I dreamed the Holy Spirit gave an answer that sufficed

The Lord said, "Hear My words, My child, I will now make it plain
How I sent My Son to earth, My people to obtain
The vision I will give you will allow you to perceive
What took place back when I told My Son, "It's time to leave"

"I send you on a journey now two thousand years ago
Ask the Holy Spirit anything you want to know
He'll answer anything you ask, a gentle friend is He
He's waiting to embrace you and He loves you tenderly"

"Holy Spirit," I began, "I heard the angels say
There soon is going to be someone from heaven sent away
I know I'm awfully curious but would it be okay
I wondered, could I ask You who is going, if I may?"

"Saint," replied the Comforter, "you know the sin of man
There needs to be a bridge so man can reach the promised land
Since that one original sin of Adam and Eve in Eden
That poor, lost world's been crying and a billion hearts are bleeding

I'll explain to you what's going to be if you'll listen to My speech
I'm bringing someone down to earth to live and heal and teach
It's going to have to be someone of power from the Father
In the form of man, a miracle, like Him there is no other"

"How will this God-man," then I asked, "be brought into the world?
It's really going to take the best, like among the swine a pearl
The world's sin is so great, so vile, I recall it with disdain
No wonder the world is singing the blues in misery and pain"

"You are correct," said the Comforter, "it's going to take the best
He's going to knock the world off course with mercy, love, and rest
It's never going to be the same, the world with all its grief
The race of man is singing the blues and it's time he found relief

"Now I'm going to tell you, saint, who it is that's going to go
It's someone very close to you, someone I know you know
The world won't have to sing the blues if the people just believe
He is to be brought by Me and I'm ready now to leave"

"Oh, Comforter," I then exclaimed in joy and praise to God
A lot of those who sing the blues are going to find a love so broad
I can see now how the miracle for man will come to pass
A friend like You upon the earth, wow, change will come and fast!

"Please tell me, friend of friends, if You are bringing forth this man
Who could it be, what is his name? I'd like to understand
You said "someone with power from the Father" it will be
But I can't seem to figure out this baffling mystery"

"I tell you, saint, do not forget that I'm the third of three
I AM the Holy Spirit of the God-head Trinity
The Father sends Me now to earth to carry out His plan
With the second of the Trinity; Jesus, Son of man"

I was so amazed I laid my hand upon my chest
The Comforter had been so right- the world would get the best
In heaven time and space are things that simply have no worth
But for human minds I will disclose- it was 1 B.C. on earth

So the Holy Spirit left and He brought heaven to the earth
And on that night the world had hope upon the Savior's birth
That infant grew to be the greatest man there's ever been
No one knew how far He'd go to save the world from sin

As my dream continued, to His Father He returned
The task for which the Lamb was sent was finished but we learned
The price He'd paid, the nails and thorns and scourging He'd been through
I praised the Lord for doing what He didn't have to do

From the dawn of all creation Jesus knew He had to die
To save the world from wicked sin and shame and Satan's lies
Imagine for a moment if you had been me that night
In your dream you'd seen the one who changed your wrongs to right

Woe whole! That was superb! Sounds like can be a awesome song ...

have you ever heard ray bolts do watch the lamb?

Thats what it reminded me of a illustration of His Love put into words that moved the souls with what Hes done...

It too sounded like a Prayer God sharing with us of how He was getting ready to leave ..

come to this earth to bless us and bring us that sweet relief, amen!

He sure did and what Words of Prophecy Our Savior who died for a world to see...

reminded me too of His Prayer to His Father in John 17 when He is was going back up right before He left so that the comforter could come ...
