Hello, my name is David and I love crafts, my mother and I make pots together & it has brought us closer together, just having things to do with her
We us Portland cement, Perlite, Vermeculite, Water and some times moss. if you are interested. I can post the amounts and you can give it a try yourself.
Oh I am new here also, I used to chat here a long time ago and am back now, Saved and in better spirit. I was a little afraid at first at trying these pots because the Portland cement is about 100.00 a bag but it is well worth it as i use baskets and other things as molds for the cement & can color it was well. Once they dry i seal them & no oven is used to bake them..

I am thinking about since I have a paper shredder, using my shredded Bills and other Paper work in the pots instead of using Vermeculite. :D
It would save me a ton of money and make my pots lighter!
