Futility of War

Do you know pain? Do you know how this feels?
Sent out to die for someones ideals?
We give our lives for honor and glory.
When you see my family, tell them my story.

My destiny in someone elses hands
Brothers in arms on foreign sands
The logic in this just cant be found.
Blood of the innocent spilled on the ground

I cant escape this helpless feeling.
There is no honor in senseless killing.
Am I really here to defend my nation?
Whats the reality of this situation?

The truth is what people really miss.
Do you see the futility in all of this?
Weve strayed so far from what God intended.
Can the hearts if men ever be mended?

The hand of God is the only solution
For this perversion of truth and moral pollution
His intentions for us have clearly been stated.
One day Hell reclaim what He has created.
