Who am I?
I ask myself this everyday
Where should I be heading?
I never know the right way

Who am I going to be?
I keep trying to work it out
Who am I meant to be?
What is life really about?

I spend such a long time
asking myself again and again
Whether I am being me
With who? and when?

One day I sit and talk with God
He tells me what is true
"You are my child,
And you are you!

You don't have to pretend
To be someone who's liked a lot
Or hide behind a mask
Of someone you're not

I love you just the way you are
So stick with being you
I know who you are
So be you in all you do

Just try and be content
With the person I made you
And if people put you down
Smile back and stay true!"
