How do i breathe when the air around me just fades away
How do i live when i cannot breathe
how do i see when my world is darkeness day after day
doubt is stopping me from being able to believe

How do i walk when there is no hope
How do i talk when i cannot cope
How do i cry when there are no tears
How do i laugh without all my fears

How do i smile when i want to cry
How can i be peaceful when i want to fight
How can i sleep when i want to sigh
How do i see without a light

When fear and pain bring darkness
and doubt and tears bring numbness
when i cannot cry or laugh or try
to walk among the walks of life
when to pain, for fear i must deny
and walk alone, sliding silently by
out of sight of public eye
