I am wanting to share a poem that means a lot to me although I am sure it might not mean much to those here.



Along the way I lost myself
I cannot say how long it was before
I knew it
Perhaps it was when I was a child
Before I knew what was in the world
before I could talk and tell
and yet i just screamed in horror
yet my mouth would not open
I do not know
I remember the shield and wall
that was there
I came upon it
i kept dreaming within a dream and a dream
I stayed the same
i did not age
i split off into a million me's
and each had a name
and each were a part of me
flying in every direction
like fire flies they were gone
and i could not catch them
they looked like night lights
I thought the reality of my life
was a dream
I didn't know who i was
where had i lost myself
my core was gone
and i wandered around
i see the shadows following me
and dancing in the light
there are many of them
i see pieces of who i was in them
they follow me along happy to be
who they are yet
I am a forgotten entity to me.

Says a lot about you in a way...but for one thing I know...Jesus knows exactly who you are.
