Trying to get Right w/ God. Day 9

Postby itsjanet » Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:39 pm

Edited. Sorry, I used this space too freely.

Today's stepping stone reminded me to persevere and stay focused on God with Faith and Patience. During the trials, I may lose focus on God, but when I look back in hindsight, it's obvious that God was there and is here now. Thank you for Your Grace and Mercy.

Janet *hug* We will have ups and downs. Do what you feel you need to. It would be good to finish it but go back and reflect. Even after you finish reflecting is important to keep what you've obtained.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Thanks, Pine. I'll work on completing this. I'll go to the next step. :) What's a life without a little challenge, huh?

Hi itsjanet, I do not understand this "backsliding attitude". Why do you call it that? 1 Pet 1:6,7 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer GRIEF in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Do you see the word GRIEF ? Trials are not always fun. You obeyed even when you knew "that history might repeat itself". When you felt anxiety and bitterness, Didn't the Comforter do His job ? He showed you that He is with you. I think you deserve an "A" for difficulty and for effort. "Then my MIL ranted about how if I respected their son, I am expected to be included in their family and accept his ways and carry on his family's way of life". Only Holy Spirit can lead and guide you in this, Remember you are not alone. I plan on going over the truths in the healing path again. You can never get enough truth. Jimf
