Hello new friends!

Well this one will definitely help to write down.

The lie:
I will never be a worship leader
Came in through my sight, sound, and thoughts
Truth-I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

The Lie: my life is ruined
came in through sight, sound, thoughts, smell, and taste
Truth-As long as I am alive I can rebuild.....again

The lie:
I will never be able to be in full time church ministry now after everything has happened with my husband
Came in through sight, sound, and thoughts
Truth-not sure about this one. It probably is true. Maybe if we move to another state or something but I have a mortgage now and moving is pretty much off the table.

Those are the ones I am thinking of now. There are probably more but you have to be able to identify the lies for this exercise to work. These are the only ones I am pretty confident are lies because they all have to do directly with God and God is all about me moving forward, forgetting the past and succeeding despite the worst odds. So I am pretty much a set up now to prove God's power and reveal His grace. The lies still flood my mind but these three at least I recognize are lies.
