Could really use some words of wisdom..
Have you ever felt like there is no reason to keep on going? Like no one would really care if you werent around.. Sure they may shed a few tears now, but after a few weeks you would be nothing more than another chapter in people's book. I am feeling right now like there is no reason to be here, to keep going.. I have nothing in my future, nothing to look forward to.. It would be so much easier if it were all over. I hate feeling this way. I know it isnt what God wants for us, but I just dont see any other way.. I hate this world.. The way things work.. How is it that someone could be such a horrible person and get everything they ask for and then some.. and I ask for so little and get nothing.. How can God allow this? Someone please answer me that.. How someone who has never done a good thing in their life's, and I try everyday to be a good person, do the right things, and what do I have to show for it? Heartache and loneliness. Please someone tell me.. Whats the point? Am I losing it? Am I alone in this battle, the way i am alone in everything else?

Hello Childsplay,
It is so good to have you here! Thank you for sharing!
You are most certainly not alone!! First and foremost, please know that. I don't know that I have any words of wisdom, but rest assured you are far from the only one whose thoughts have gone down that avenue. When thing after thing seems to go against us, it becomes easy for the enemy to pull us into that line of thinking. He wants nothing more than to blind us to the good that surrounds us and throw us into despair and discouragement. He puts our focus solely on the negative, and it can be so, so hard to shift our gaze.
God has given you a future! God has an amazing plan! I can only imagine how overwhelmed you must be feeling right now...and how hard those two statements are to believe. Allow God to remind you of the good...in the people and in the world....that is around you. Ask Him to point out something to you today that is worth getting out of bed for, that is worth putting one foot in front of the other for...ask Him to remind you everytime it slips from your mind. Once you have found that one thing...start looking for another. It is a matter of retraining our mind, teaching it to focus where He wants it to, and not where the enemey would like it.
Remember through it all...though it may feel that way...you are not alone.
I will be praying for you today...that smiles drop in from unexpected places.
Please keep sharing.

Hello childsplay
First and foremost I'd like to welcome you to a place where ... well at least me and the few more that I know have been where you are now and then some , and that by doing what you are now doing , asking questions , have found answers here .
Faith = belief in the substance unseen KNOWING hope is there for those substances to come true through our Lord Jesus , The Christ . It is ONLY impossible for us , for Him it is a cake - or water - walk .
Ask for little , we get little ... Ask for Big , we get Big ! ... Have you found anything Bigger than Him yet ?
Luv ya
In Christ , our Lord

Childsplay,
You are a child of God. You have so much to live for, and Your Heavenly Daddy sees that in you. He understands that this world is fallen, and that the pain we carry He wishes he could take it all away. Though, again He loves you, and that is worth getting up and living for. You may not be able to walk on your own, but allow Him to carry you today. Allow the words of encouragement from those here on this amazing site to uplift you. You are not alone, and you are worth so much to your creator, to us, and to someone who is watching your example here on this earth. I know God knows your heart, and He knows the pain you carry. This is a poem that He wrote through me, and I would love to share it with you.
God, the creator of this child. Draw close to them. Meet their needs right now. lavish your love on them. amen
Beauty from Ashes
You say, “You don’t know my pain.â€
Or, “life was not meant for me, and God doesn’t even know my name.â€
You say, “I am too far gone to ever love again.â€
Or, “You don’t know my past.â€
You say, “If only you knew my secret hidden deep within.â€
But I say, “I bring beauty from ashes,
I bring Joy from pain.â€
“I bring life out of nothing to live again,
And I know all my children by their name.â€
I say, “I will bring beauty from your ashes!â€
Young women lost in lies
Of hope of beauty in disguise.
Living each day to just hold on
To possibly make it to the next morning dawn.
What lies beneath the pain?
Of the abuse, loneliness, and the lie of trading beauty for fame.
Hopes of a better tomorrow
Even though the control of food and the truth of death to follow.
Beauty from ashes is her only hope,
As a loving Father can carry her and help her cope.
To see the beauty locked deep inside,
To release the bondage
She can no longer hide.
A beautiful child, created with a purpose and in His image.
Lying alone in a hospital bed
She lays there as memories race through her head.
She’s lived a great life, and is now facing death
As she, in only moments will breathe her last breath.
Only moments till she greets her creator,
The battle to fight this disease was so great,
But seeing Jesus face to face will be so much greater.
Beauty from Ashes
As the pain is gone as she steps into heaven,
To see God’s glorious face and all He has given.
For those left behind,
She has left her legacy to fight the good fight.
Isolated, scared, and all alone
Fear of the unknown.
The addiction that holds you captive and chained,
We all have them, no reason to be ashamed.
Joined at a party, where she tries to fit in,
The girl gets addicted to life she is now trapped in.
Drugs, alcohol, lies and sin,
She feels so trapped and lost within.
Beauty from Ashes
Is what God has given
As He sweeps in
And changes this life trapped with sin,
Breaking the addiction, causing her to fully live again!
Young girl, on the side of the road
Hoping only tonight she could truly be loved and be held.
Not only to be used and thrown out again,
Longing for a life of hope and freedom.
Young girl, turns into a beautiful women
Has a career, is married, and now with children.
Though days she still longs for that unconditional love,
That can heal all the pain from the abuse, past, abortion, and drugs.
Which can only be found in her God above!
Beauty from Ashes
God saved his daughters life
Lavishing his love on her and forgiveness
She is now changing other’s lives.
A man, that gave up His only life,
To give hope to the hurting,
To give love to the unloved,
To change the unchanged,
To save the lost and give eternal life.

Re: Could really use some words of wisdom..
Hello childsplay, welcome to the Oasis!
I want to begin by telling you that you are not alone. I know it may feel like you are, but the reality is...Jesus is right there beside you. He wants you to know His presence, and to know that He has good things for you. Sometimes we look at others, and feel "robbed" in our own life because we think they have the best of things and the easy road. In reality, those people have their own sets of trials...some are just better at hiding them than others. So don't be blinded by the enemy and believe that they are getting good things...and you aren't...because less is more...the less you have...the less worries you will have...the more you have...the more worries you have...
Take this time to grow closer to God. Spending time talking to Him, sharing your heart, your wants and your dreams. He will hear you...and He will answer...His answers aren't always our wants...but His answers are always the best...even if the answer is no, yes, or not now.
My prayers are with you.
Take care and God Bless
