The real gifts

Postby Christnundrconstruxn » Sun Nov 28, 2010 9:48 am

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to try something, don't know if it will catch on but if it does I think we ALL will enjoy reading.
With CHRISTmas coming quick and we all are so busy with our earthly preparations I would like for each and everyone of us to stop for a minute in this next month and take notice of the true gifts we have gotten over the years, it can be one word or a story of how it came about I just want to hear of the gifts that GOD has given us over the years so we can slow down and remember this season IS ABOUT HIM!! I just thought if we step back and think of what He has given us we will keep in mind what we are celebrating and that is the greatest gifts EVER given our life to live through Him.
so there it is, come on and get this going and I will come back and post one of the MANY gifts He has given me
Can't wait to return and see what is posted, God bless

Ok here is my first of many gifts that I want to mention...My 3 beautiful kids, those that do not have this blessing cannot understand the feeling of never being able to give our Lord enough thanks for the privilege to have them.
But our Lord understand 100% what we feel because He feels the same about all of us
do anything to make sure of safety
go hungry to feed
freeze for their warmth
and most of all die for them
I love my kids more than life itself....Just like Him
God bless all

OUR LORD'S FORGIVENESS, I DON'T WANT TO EVEN BEGIN TO THINK OF MY LIFE WITHOUT HIS FORGIVENESS...VERY COLD EMPTY LONELY PLACE
SO I AM MOST THANKFUL FOR THIS GIFT.

Amen Brother!!!! :)

I've had lots of thoughts of gifts Gods given me from family to material things.

A gift that isn't considered much is the sharpening that He does. Cause it hurts. But in the end it is so good.

The gift of the Holy Spirit is much appreciated. Not sure what I would do with out the Holy Spirit. :)

God bless and keep you.

One of the greatest gifts God has given me is a loving family. I grew up in a Christian home with a Mom and a Dad who were very loving and fun. My mother taught me about God and the love of Jesus Christ. My Dad taught me how to work hard but also to laugh and enjoy life. I have 2 older brothers and an older sister that are great. We are all very close and on good terms. All are good Christian people who really love the Lord. My Mom passed away when I was young...but my dad married a wonderful woman who I call my mom today. My dad passed 3 years ago but he left great memories for me. I am very thankful that I was given the gift of a loving and close family and I praise God for that!

Hello brothers and sisters,

This topic is a beautiful one and right in time for us to think of and be greatful for all that we have. Amen!

I must say that the best gift i have ever recieved was His grace, it sets me free. Free to be all He made me to be. What a wonderful gift indeed!

Physically the best gift He has given me, my loved ones. My children and my soulmate.

God bless
