Computer has been down and a devotion
I haven't been around any lately cause my computer is down for a time. and will be yet for a time. may be a few weeks to a month or so before i'm able to get back. I so miss coming into Oasis daily and reading. Here's a devotion i wrote a few days ago hoping to come in and share. Love you all. Lord Bless you all dearly.
I Know Their Sorrows
Exodus 3:67
Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows.
God said "I know their sorrows" don't know about you but that touches deep into the depths of my soul. These are His chosen people, He has seen their affliction, their tears, their cry reached into heaven.
We, all Christians, we are also His people, we are His children, and we are also chosen. "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you..." John 15:16
God hears our cries, sees our tears, sees all and any of the afflictions we may go through, He sees our ups and downs. He sees our sins, and He hears and feels from within each of us a repenting heart as we cry unto Him. Psalm56:8 says, "Thou tellest my wandering;put thou my tears into a bottle: are they not in thy book?" Have heard some call this 'God's Book of Tears', our every tear has been recorded.
It just brings a lot of comfort knowing God is with us and just as God sent unto His people in Egypt, someone to lead them into the Promised Land. God has sent us someone also. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to lead us and that day is at hand.
No matter what trouble you may be going through, cry unto God with all your heart, mind and soul. He's Listening.
