7 months of trials

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well :) ! I am about to share a testimony of what God has done for me.I hope my testimony will help to encourage someone else to always trust in God, no matter what the problem is.Here is my story.

It happened about 2 years ago.My familly was not doing well at all.My parents were always arguing. My sister had literally hated my dad, and both my Ex stepmom and sister were trying to turn my brother and I against our dad. This is when things were were partially well, if you know what I mean.Things quickly grew worse.Arguments sometimes almost turned to fights.Police and CPS had to be called numerous times. My brother and I was always in the middle, and sadly, it finally came a point when we had to choose sides.Because I had decided my biological dad, my stepmom got upset with me, and since she already kicked my dad out,I had to leave with my dad.The last words she ever told me was"I love you, and no matter what your dad says.I will always love you."It has been 6 years, and I have never heard anything from her since. Here comes where the trials comes in.
At first, living in another place went pretty well.My dad was working two jobs, and all was going well. Then the bills came, and a major financial crisis had becom a result from it.Living a good, sustaining life had all went down the drain in an instant. Our power was the first thing we lost.We had no AC, no lights, and no cold food. For seven months.Next to go was our personal things.Furniture, tvs, instuments, game systems and games...etc.My dad and I had to sleep on the floor.Praise God we could still read the Bible, sing hymms, and focus more time on God.Life was hard all around. My school life became terrible. My church life was horrible too.In both places I was made fun of, excluded and mocked.I was treaeted like garbage at school.I really had to pray during these times, because Jesus was the only one who kept me going.A lack of food was the next thing.Beleive it or not, somedays my only source of food was pancake syrup, with water.I was grateful just to have bread. We've been evicted 3 times within those seven months.Had to stay with a friend during those times.Well, God is soo good, because now I am 17 years old.I am still alive(We, I mean). We have our power back.We have more food to eat.God has also reunited my sister and dad!He has reunited my familly as a whole

Praise God!

I mentioned this elsewhere but it's worthy of repeating. Anyone can give praise in the good times. When we are facing the storms of life, that is when giving praise seems the most challenging. However, I have learned, through personal experience, that praising God as life's storms rages all around us...that is when we most need to praise Him and that is when, by faith, we grow spiritually.

You just keep giving God the Glory and PRAISE HIM in your good times and especially in the bad times. What a lovely testimony.

God bless you!

Sounds like our Father never kept you in the dark,Jesus will always light the way for us and The bible is food indeed.
You might have lost earthly possessions, but earthly things are not lasting. What awaits us in heaven will not rot, or be taken from us. Our Father left you with the greatest treasure, the greatest survivor tool , The bible.
The Lord is my Shepherd, i Shall not want..........

"When we bless God for mercies, we usually prolong them.

When we bless God for miseries, we usually end them.

Praise is the honey of life which a devout heart extracts from every bloom of providence and grace."

"A test of a Christian's character is what he does after he comes to the blockade in the road and what his attitude is after everything has left him except Jesus.

You will never know down here that Christ is all you need until Christ is all you have left.

You will never be able to tell the world for sure that He will do in a crisis unless you learn how to live in a crisis."

Sounds like all you had was Jesus and now you proclaim His goodness..God bless your ministry. God will bring you all the way Home...much encouragement to you...God bless you and your family...
