Well first off im 17 years old and i live in TN , a few months ago back in August i was going thru teen depression , it was one of the worst things that has happened in my life , i never felt like doing anything all i wanted to do was mope around an feel sorry for myself , i didn't even want to get up in the mornings an get dressed i just wanted to stay in bed ,i was having bad thoughts an i couldn't understand why this was happening to me , i hate to admit this but i was even having thoughts about what if i died would it matter,i had doubts about God , which made me feel awful, i didn't know what to do , i was talking to my mom eveyday telling her about what was going on , i thought i was gonna have to go to therapy or something , then one day i heard about the counseling program on Oasis , i did just a few days worth of it an i could tell a HUGE difference my life was changed , God helped me sooooo much , i felt so Amazing after i did the program , it was the best thing i could have ever done , God helped me sooooooo much in my life , its so wonderful how God never gives up on us an how he is always there for us

aww gizzy glad things worked out for ya! i know what u went threw my testimonie is a lil different by i still cant find the right words and time to tell people it i love ya so much ::Hug

Dear Gizmo,

Thanks so much for sharing your testimony. I know that God will use what you've been through to help other teens who are struggling with depression. Just knowing that they aren't alone and that someone else has gone through it and come out to the other side will be a blessing for man.

That counseling is so wonderful.
It has helped me with many issues as it has with many.

Howdy, giz. That counseling program really opens things up and the Holy Spirit starts working in you. It's wonderful. Glad it helped you out so much.

I am not a teen, but I have struggled with depression. I feel ya. This last year was difficult, but God has lifted me up and still holds me high.
