[Christdaughter]

I shared this in the room, and was ask to please share it with all of the Oasis family. I was raised by a Christian mama, she had faith no matter what was going on, good, bad, horrible, Mama trusted in the Lord, I married my husband against my Mom & Dad wishes, but Mom was of the mind, it is done, instead of fighting against our daughter, let us encourage her and help her in this new life.
After 20 yrs of drug abuse in my marriage as well as verbal and physical, I just got tired of all the people ( so called friends ) in my home, so one day I went to my husband and said, hook me up to some meth, I put it in my coffee, so to me that was different, but drugs are drugs! One night there was a knock on my door, it was the police and my husband was arrested, I was so angry with the world and God, you see my husbands BEST FRIEND, turned him in because my husband would not give him drugs. I remember the night I told God, Ok, God, lets see what cha got" it was very cold and I went to the church my son went to before he joined the Marines, only four people were there, I ask them all, why does God punish one person and others sit back and do the same thing and sit back and laugh at this person pain? the answer was, " God has a purpose for everything and it is all for the good." Not good enough for me, so the church had a revival I went with the same mind set, ....God moved on me so awesome that night! a man that was at the service i went to when it was so cold came up to me and said.." I have something I need to share with you, he told me the first night I went to the church, service had been canceled, god told him, he needed to be there, he fussed and told God it was so cold, but God kept telling him, some people need to be there, God made sure the church was open because He knew I was going there! I won't say I didn't fall a couple of time but I got right back up! After being in and out of prison three times, i went to visit my husband with the purpose of telling him I was done, through, my husband ask me to allow him to show me he had changed, I was going to refuse but God nudge me and said " give him the same chance I gave you " that was 13 yrs ago,, we both live for God and will not turn back!
