I get all teary eyed remembering when I was 14 and sooo on fire.. hehe. I'm not sharin this to make you cry tho Okay sooooo.. Jiffy told me about the Oasis! After the Christmas Party (WHICH WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!) I got in chat a lot more.. I started the My Brothers Keeper a month or two later.. It was like a new beginning for a new year :D

The MBK program was so fun.. that program seriously gave me a spiritual growth spurt I remember the veryyy first MBK meet where Lizzie introduced the program and was with all of us teens until we finished the quiz of 100 questions. Whenever we had a question on a question she was there for us.. I think I was the last one to finish

She made each MBK Meet crazy and fun and exciting :D I was so sad when I finished the steps! :'( After going thru all the steps of MBK, Lizzie got all the teens in the room where she started encouraging us to jump at opportunities to serve God and become a leader..

EVERY teen was all hyped up! but when she asked if we would take the opportunity to serve by sharing a testimony/lesson as a guest for the next MBK meet.. everyone fell silent

ZOO was there too and liz and zoo laughed at how we all just went quiet on them a couple of us did stand up nd say we'd do it.. that's when lizzzzzzzzz paired us up so we wouldnt be as nervous.. how wise is our lizzieeee :D

If there's one thing I remember most about that program, it's the meetings that we had. I remember the feeling of being soooo excited on fire and pumped to meet with other teens.. that had the same beliefs I did.. who were learning the same stuff at the same pace with a divine hunger and thirst for more of the God... it was somethin so new to me..

I'm so blessed to have strong leaders like Oey who God used to write every step of MBK for us, and lizzie, who delivered em in the most perfectestestest way possible. When I'm going thru a desert and my soul feels quenched.. I try and remember a time when things were goin great.. where I really felt the Holy Spirit.. and this is the memory that I choose to relive. Sooo.. i just wanted to share that with my family..

I miss those MBK meets that were led by liz.. im so blessed to see y'all in COOL Church tho :D God bless

star... there are VERY few things that ive experienced in this life that brought me as much joy as being around you teens, especially during that MBK period. I miss it too little one.
