Hey everyone, I just want to ask one question: how can I stop being so vain? I ask this because I realized that when i talk to people, and even when I think about things, it's always about myself -.- any suggestions would be helpful =)

Hi Sis,

I don't know if this will help but figured I would throw it out there.

First Pray - pray for the Lord to release you from this and to give you compassion for others
Next imagine that person is Jesus - would you stand and be all me me me if you were talking to Jesus?
Next put your problems and issues over in Jesus's lap and ask if He will take those burdens so you can reach out to others
Stick around here this is where I learned to feel less of judging and that there really are people out there that don't even know me or my past but will pray for me in a heart beat......which tends to make you want to do the same

You've taken the first step...realizing it now just take baby steps and soon you will see change.

It seems The Holy Spirit has been talking to you by placing that thought on your mind. God is so very Good!!! You know, any time The Lord places a thought in our mind to correct something about ourselves, He will also give us the instructions. His Word is our instruction manual.

There is a wonderful study on this site call "My Brother's Keeper" which was written under inspiration of The Holy Spirit, and, the truths shared within the study are from The Bible. I think you will be very blessed if you take the opportunity to read it, and apply it to your life.

Hi timothy =) I think my its because of the imaginations in my head during school. I like to imagine fame and things like that, but i've realized that it doesn't make me feel that good in the end. Thank you for your reply, I think ill try some of the studies =)
