I came across a tv show calld Open Forum hosted by Harold Camping who is calling may 21 2011 judgement day..here is the website posting.php?mode=post&f=14...At first I was hesitant to believe and as much as I would love Jesus to return sooner than later, I had to give this a great deal of thought...God let Noah know the day and why should he keep us in the dark about his return. This is something I will ponder greatly.

You asked why would God keep us in the dark about the day of judgement...well the answer is simple in my eyes...God does what is best for all of us..if we knew the day and hour he was coming we would not be watching and ready all the time...being as we are sinful in nature...man would ready their hearts on the day he cometh and do as they pleased otherwise....I will share scripture here to bring more clarification on this matter.

Revelation 3:3
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Matthew 24:44
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Luke 12:40
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

I know, it just makes you ponder. If he told Noah when the flood would happen, why not now? How much worst can this world get before we see Christ again.

Everything in God's timing hun...we just have to trust that He has the plans laid out and the timing is perfect...until that time...we continue to run the race and finish it strongly.

Very interesting topic you have brought up.

There was approximately 100 years between the time Noah was told to build the ark and when he was told to enter into the ark. From the accounts in The Bible, Noah did not know the date to enter into the ark, until it was actually time to enter in.

And as Mlg mentioned, we are to be watch, waiting and ready for our Lord's return, at all times.

Matthew 24:36 (Jesus speaking) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

I agree, the signs are all around us, aren't they?!!!

But, we must stay focused on The Lord and His blessed Word.

Matthew 24:24-26 (Jesus speaking) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (25) Behold, I have told you before. (26) Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

I've not been able to find scripture that says that God told Noah to advise people that the flood would arrive in 7 days, but I may have missed it. God did tell Noah, Genesis 6:18 But with thee will I establish My covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. And then the Lord instructed Noah on the animals and such.

I know, it just makes you ponder....

Just wanted to warn you dear sister to be cautious the enemy likes to sneak in with little pondering questions and twist the truth of Gods word.

It is clear no man knows the time. To me that says if someone claims they know the time, they are not sent from God. I toss it out quickly so I'm not led astray.

The important thing is not the time, but that we are busy reaching others for the Kingdom.

Do you believe we may know the day with these verses ?

Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
