Jesus Is the Reason for The Season

I think most Christians would agree that Jesus was NOT born on December 25th. In fact many will tell you that it doesn't matter if He was born on July 25, or January 8th (random days)..

The main thing is that we know He was born. In America and many places all over the world we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior on December 25th... Whether we're celebrating too early or too late doesn't matter.

I'm sure no one is going to hell for celebrating the birth of our Savior on the "wrong day". I can't imagine God chastising anyone for that reason..

I do know that the Magi (Wise Men) Matthew 2:1-11 celebrated the birth of Jesus by presenting Him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh...

As we celebrate this Christmas let us also present him with treasures of praise, worship, and service to the Lord.. Let us reflect on the best gift to the world.. This season serves as a reminder that not only was Jesus born but in fact he was born to die for our sins...

The oh so holy, super sanctified, spiritual scrooges will say stuff like the word Christmas is not in the Bible so we shouldn't celebrate, lol.. or some other blah blah blah stuff...

I feel that if for at least a month (after Thanksgiving when the Christmas Season usually starts)people all over the world are getting some reminder or learning for the first time about Jesus, God is pleased...

I pray that we as Christians take advantage of this time and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in whichever way the Holy Spirit leads us..

Don't get yourself into debt. Give Jesus the gift of your time and resources by helping others in need..

Let us remember that Jesus is the reason for the season..

~~ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ~~
