It seems we need a shield more than ever...
Hundreds of parents have bought their children a video game containing 'shocking' violence despite its 18 certificate.
They queued overnight in hordes for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which is expected to break records for video game sales.
But many others are outraged by the content, including a scene where the player can choose to take part in a massacre of civilians.
A "game" in which the player can slaughter civilians. Why is this game not banned? Why am I in fact even having to ask such a question in the first place?
Psalm 7:9 - 10
O righteous God,
who searches minds and hearts,
bring to an end the violence of the wicked
and make the righteous secure.
My shield is God Most High,
who saves the upright in heart.

Geesh! What next. How much worse can we feed our children before we have such an abusive angry society that we can't go out of our homes.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
