Home/online schooling

Postby morningrain » Sat Sep 12, 2009 6:44 pm

Yesterday i went and withdraw my daughter from high school. In the next week or so she will be starting school here at home but online schooling. Got to work this week and finish setting it all up and who we are going with seems to be a good online school that works with oe of her high school teachers. Plus i get to be in constant contact with her teacher(s).

She's looking forward to it and so glad to be away from the school she was attending. I'm a little nervous about it though afraid high school work today goes right over my head, so online schooling for me is the best way to go. She has had a bad start this year. Came down with the flu. and then had a relapse of the flu and still having lots of breathing problems. The three weeks that school has restarted for the year she has missed more then two weeks. So when we finally get this set up she will have lots of work to catch up on. Hope and feel like i'm making the right choice on doing this.

Public school has gotten to be a rough place to be this week alone there has been several several fights and one young boy has been expelled already for pulling out a knife in one fight.

hi angel ... very sorry to hear about the crisis with your school ... but glad that you've decided to homeschool.

Lizzy is right, what the Lord calls, He also enables!!

Just so that you know, most of us homeschoolers have decided to do so out of crisis situation ... don't be worried, or feel alone ... because you are not !! *hug*

It would be my pleasure and honour to help you in any way that I can !! Let me know if you need me. I will pray for you and your daughter's new journey!!

talk soon
