I could probably give you the same advice God gave me: 1) WAIT 2) Be patient 3) trust me 4) know I am God.

Just let Him know you want to be used for His will and purpose, to further His kingdom... and leave love to Him... God is the master of Love...hey we were made to Love.... get to know your first Love... that is Christ.

Believe that you will be healed!!! if that is hard, pray "God please help my unbelief".... remember, nothing is impossible with God...not sure what your sickness is, but say this with me.... "in your presence God we come with this request,"" that you will heal Shawn from....... through the power of the Holy Spirit in us, through our Lord Jesus Christ we pray "

God is beyond our scrutiny or comprehension. There are rules of believing, but this life isn't about being a particular way - fitting a particular mold. God grows us each individually.

My mother asked God why she couldn't have a friend - a close friend. And God said it was because when she had a friend, the friend was everything to her - and she didn't keep her fellowship with God in the same way.

We are all different and we all do things differently and we all have a different path.

That said, your believing is all important. If you will picture what you want: a loving companion, better health.... whatever it is and put pictures in a scrap book or otherwise make a place of believing and visit that place often with gladness and thanksgiving - picturing it and praying for it - while also seeking God first - then miracles can happen.

Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God. When those things are first - then they don't tend to come. When God is first - as in you will continue on with God no matter what happens with those other things - THEN God gives you the desires of your heart.

When you made Jesus Lord of your life, you gave God permission to do what is best for YOU. But your focus and believing very much determines whether you receive it. It is a complicated thing - or can be made so. The simple version is:

1. Seek God FIRST. No matter what.
2. Know your desires and ask, and make them tangeable - in a picture book or something - and ask with thanksgiving and praise. (You do not have because you do not ask. James 4:2)
3. Be thankful - no matter what.

Some years ago I learned this steps:
1-Ask God whatever you want to receive or want to know
2-Thank Him for the blessings in your life
3-Wait in Him the answer
4-Rejoice
