My bio-mom has had a knot on her leg for the past couple days. It has caused her leg to swell to twice the size of the other and cause a lot of pain. We have all been pushing her to go to the doctor. She has refused until today. My aunt took her to the emergency room a few minutes ago.

So the good news, she does not have a blood clot. However, the blood is not flowing properly in her legs. She work at Wal-Mart and blood pools in her legs from standing all day. She also has fluids on that leg. So, they are putting her on lasiks (water pill) and potassium to get rid of the fluid. She has to be off work 5 days and wear support hose when she goes back to work to prevent blood clots.
