domestic violence

Postby Ann_is_Alive » Thu Oct 21, 2010 12:03 pm

I am currently living in a domestice violence homeless shelter for women and children and I would like prayers sent out to all the women and children here. They so need God in their lives. There is so many emotions going around here, they need peace.........His peace. They need to know they are not alone in this and if they just ask He will be there. Thank you all for being here. I have grown so much since joining. You all have helped me find God again in my life. Even though I am currently living here, I know with God's help, I will transition out of here and into a place of my own.......in His time. Thank you and GBU

Hello Ann_is_Alive *hug*

Prayers are rising to our Lord, in the name of Jesus, on behalf of the women there with you, and for you.

God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you, Ann.

Annnnn!!!!!! *Hug9*

You know, maybe you are not there by accident but by will. You can touch those women because you know what it is like...talk to them at a level they can hear because you are one of them.

Lord, I ask that you bless Ann with the words she needs when she talks to these women.
Bless these women and children so they can get back on their feet
and help them to hear the words Ann says...your words
In Jesus' name I pray

Miss you girl

Ann I too spent time in a shelter for women and children of domestic abuse and know the emotional roller coaster. I wish that when I was in the shelter someone would have provided a Bible Study and prayer service for us. The hardest thing was not being able to go to church and be able to find acceptance from my christian brothers and sisters. Maybe a good Bible study and prayer meeting would help those in the shelter would help. Just a thought.

In my prayers,
Dawnannette
