Need Prayer Warriors Help

Postby mcpeak » Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:38 pm

Please my wife and I to your prayer list. For a long time now there has been a wall between her heart and mine and I pray for strength to get through this. I pray asking God if it is His will for us to stay together and I just don't know. This has been going on for 2-3 years now. How long must a person be patient? When is it time to draw the line? I do not want divorce but if the best it will ever be is a room mate relationship I cannot go on. Please pray for us. For God to give us strength and to also some how give us a sign if it is truly His will for us to be together at all. I feel like it is totally hopless. Thanks you and God bless you prayer warriors.

welcome mcpeak
There is a really good book called The Five Love Languages. It is a real insightful book into marriage. It is sold everywhere, even Walmart. I encourage you to look it over.

Well, eleven years here.

The wall came down a couple months after I began to look for a
local church for my family to attended. After finding one, I took
my family to it. My wife was touched by the sermons and the
support she recieved. A couple months later she was baptized.
She goes to all the church programs and studies. Among those
studies are some re: marriage.

But before that, I had to seek God for myself and ask for
forgiveness of my sins, which included my self pride, and
to soften my own hardened heart.
That was about a two year process of progress, of which this
site played an important part of that progress.

We are enjoying a "new" marriage with Jesus as our focus.
It just gets better with each day! :) Praise the Lord!

The Five Love Languages is good, also the movie 'Fire Proof'.
I also like the 'Power of the Praying Husband' by Stormie Omartian.
Patricipating in the programs and studies on this site was wonderful
in helping me to learn more, keep my focus, and helped me to look
at myself in the mirror of God's Word. It was a process. It took
time. mcpeak, we are with you in prayer.

Keep pluggin!
