Christianity Oasis Forum

This forum will help us to learn how to use Preventative Maintenance when it comes to our emotions. Renewing our minds daily in Christ helps us to control our emotions and lead a more productive life in Christ instead of being swept away in the whirlwind of emotions this life can throw at us daily.

I have a question for everyone.....

Here's my question for anyone who wants to answer.....

What emotion would you say is the main emotion in your life....and how does it affect your faith?

INSECURIY... VS ...PATIENCE

I have to daily remind mself to step bak in every thing I do...
Giving it to God and leaving it there ...

but I do give it to Him andnoticing I do feel so much better after knowing He got it ...

its just wrestling with the unseen... FAITH

The emotion which is most often felt is a continual undercurrent of emotional pain.

Friends and strangers have told me my eyes look very sad and hurt.

One morning, I woke myself up because I was talking in my sleep. I was saying: PAIN AND INJUSTICE, over and over.

How does emotional pain affect my faith?

I feel anger toward anyone who abuses children, and emotional pain for abused children. It turns me to God for them.

The pain and injustice in this world, in my life, and the emotional pain it causes me to feel, keeps me close to God, keeps me in the Christian faith.

God comforts me, eases my pain, and gives me joy.
