The Power of the Gospel

Did you know that the bible is more than just words. It is powerful and alive in the Holy spirit. Those of us reading the gospel, and opening our hearts to our God have been approved and entrusted with the gospel.
Thessalonians 1: 5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit........
thess 2:4 but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts....
John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
We don't always understand or remember what is been taught to us, but because the words are living, the words (Jesus) will live in us, and when the time comes, you will understand and you will remember. John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy spirit, whom the Father will send in my name he will teach you all things, and bring to you remembrance all things that I said to you. 1 John 2:27
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. (john 14:6), one can not know God unless he knows his son, for the father dwells in Jesus, and by reading the gospel the lord dwells in us. Jesus didn't leave us alone when he died, through the Holy spirit, he is with us, and in a powerful way. John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth, it is to our advantage that i go away; for if i do not go away, the Helper will not come to you, but if i depart, I will send him to you
The power of the Holy spirit within us will teach us many things, now and what is to come. (John 16:13)
The Lord has given us Spiritual gifts, gifts of healing, miracles, discerning of spirits, tongue speaking, interpretation of tongue speaking, wisdom, prophecy etc. As time comes near we will see even more awesome wonders and miracles done in the name of Jesus.
In all we do The lord wants us to love one another, that is his commandment to us. 1 corinthians 13 though i speak with the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. and though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though i have all faith so that I could remove mountains, but have not love I am nothing..........
1 cornith 14 Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Jesus also wants us to spread the good news, and that is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
He also wants us to go to him and ask for forgiveness, and that we too forgive those that have done us wrong.
Ask, seek and knock. Praise and Glory to God always.
