Christ Must Reorient You

When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets. And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him. (Mark 1:19-20)

We have a natural tendency to find our comfort zone

If you are in a situation or lifestyle where you are perfectly capable of handling everything, you have stopped growing in your understanding of God.

The bolded (bolding , mine) statement is what jumped at me as I read this post . It (the post) was not a coincidence , (Absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake) .
This post served as an answer to me even though I never asked the question nor do I recall pondering such thoughts , but nevertheless , an answer it is . and at this very moment I am praising my Lord for using you as an instrument brother .

Just when I thought , I "knew" all the answers (according to my own capacity) , God throws me yet another curve ball (your post) for me to go "huh ?" , He goes "Think so ? Watch this" , that's how awesome my Lord is .

Reminds me of my favorite passage I always use on my sponsees , and once in a while (like now) my Lord says "Here's a dose of your own medication" .

"There is a PRINCIPLE (the "I know") which is a bar against all information , which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance - and that principle is contempt prior to investigation"
Herbert Spencer

Thanx for the post brother
Luv ya
