Acceptance

There is some wisdom in the following statements. One part is quoted from the A.A. Big Book. I felt a need to share this as it has helped me and others I know. It works whether you have an addicted personality or not.
When I stopped living in the problem, and began living in the Answer the problem went away.
And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place,thing , or situation- some fact of my life- unacceptable to me, that I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I accepted my problem, I could not overcome it; unless I accept life completely on life terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes.
Psalm 139:2-5
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afaroff.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down,
and art acquainted with all my ways.
For there is]not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
Thou hast beset me behind and before,
and laid thine hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Luv ya,
