Christianity Oasis Forum

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Smiles Jesus can do everything that your best friend is doing for you. Jesus can actually be closer to you than that best friend could ever be. I hope that that best friend has Jesus in their life and tries to get you to turn to him. I hope they tell you just how great and awesome Jesus is and how He loves you so much
He has been so good to you and has placed good friends in your life. How awesome can that be. He really cares for you and is ther for you even when you think that He isn't. I pray that you will continue on this journey you are on in allowing Him to be your all.
Have I told you lately how proiud I am of you.
But just imagine this.......If I am proud.....How much more proud is your Father in Heaven?
Love you sis....
Keep pressing in

Smiley yes today is going to be trying. Just what the enemy would want. You have got to force yourself to redirect your focus. Throw it back in the enemies Face! don't let him get the victory even in your thoughts.
YES! one year celibate lets throw a party! Lets rejoice .....a huge milestone for you. Just a year ago your were saying I can never make it this far....and LOOK....YOU MADE IT A WHOLE YEAR!
Yes the itch is still there...but don't you dare scratch it. Put on your praise....get a scripture and hang on to it.....entertain your mind in otherways sis. Yes a struggle it is but you can do it! I believe in you! I know that bulldog tenacity that you have. When you believe in something you hold on to it for all you are worth. That is what I see you doing here.
Keep pressing in sis...you are going to make it!
Love ya

Smiley, I'm gonna start by giving you a *hug* cuz I feel you could use one. I know how it can be when your thoughts seem to be running the show...makes ya just feel uggghhh...but just know that your thoughts don't have to control your reactions...renew your mind sis...time to fill it with good things...do something special for yourself today...what is something you really enjoy doing?....pick to do this and help refocus your thoughts.

We are here for you sis....praying for you...let go and let God.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
