i am on the path to discovery over the next two wks. i have of the calling on my life all my life. because of my childhood, i never fully accepted the call until i completed two counselling courses on this site.
now i'm ready. GOD is blessing me thru HIS word andi can see such a magnanimous change in myself. my husband sees it too, and hates it.
but onward christian soldier. i must answer the call! my GOD awaits

Sis this is one of my favorite journeys at the Oasis...the MCFC steps and you have begun

Now God will begin to open even more doors for you...showing you how to step out and your calling and allowing Him to use you to help others. I remember the first post you made and now I look and I too can see the change within you...and I love it...cuz it's all God!!!

Alright...so here ya go sis...enjoy every step...and make sure to invite Holy Spirit to go along with ya...cuz it will be much more exciting and interesting.

My husband also saw a change in me. He and my son referred to it as me being in a cult in the beginning but I know they see the change. (My son mentioned he missed his old Mom because now he is old enough to drink and I don't drink anymore. Came out with some pretty funny stories because I wouldn't fly unless I was drunk.)
One suggestion I would like to make. Do not try to push your husband to understanding what you are feeling so he can feel the same. It doesn't work. I stepped back and gave him to God. Little by little I see change. He no longer makes faces if he catches me in worship. He sings along with some of the songs. We say grace before eating in resturants!
God told me he is coming so I believe... although I'd like it faster
