I dont know why I'm stuck @ this forum , or should it matter ?

You know, when you watch a late night movie , you wake up humming the tunes , even when you didn't care much about the movie at all , and some how you find yourself unable to shake it off no matter what you try ?

Well, you guessed it, today was one those mornings for me . Its like my hung-over days, only in reverse ! It felt like a hang-over yesterday & today I'm going "I'm glad that's over !"

So I wake up this morning (on the couch) with this "yep, a long talk with Jackie (daughter) is long overdue , 'how dare she do this ' how dare she do that', I'll tell her this and she'll tell me that" frame of mind right ?
As if that wasn't bad enough , On my way to the kitchen, I trip over my sketch pad that was left on the floor in the living room - with a page torn off of it ! - " You know this means WAR !! "
Take a deep breath -count to 10 - mimimimimi's - take "Dillie" for a walk (TWICE around) - in to my study - taped on the monitor (her way of admitting things) is the page from my pad with a sticky note note saying 'sorry, love you' , - I had sketched five kids tied to a tree ! - yeah , the ones SHE was supposed to baby sit !!! instead , gone out w/her new found friends and didn't come back till "curfew" 11:00 PM . (how did she sneak in ?)
Seeing that I could do nothing but start laughing ! -at loud !! - I'm going "ok vahn , this is it , you HAVE gone over the edge , no more questions !.

So open up COOL page, dont know where to go , oh ,what's this ? Spirit of Truth , hmm , so read ,read, read, still dont know what to write , go back on the couch and just collapse vahn , let the world go by ( for a 100 yrs or so's just fine w/me) .
Jackie walks in , I dont know , I just gave her the tightest hug I'd given anyone in my life , she asked what was going on, the only thing I could say was "I just love you ,that's all "

Now I know I'm going to read this tommorow or sometime later, and I know I'll probably think of it the siiliest thing ever, and that it has absolutely nothing to do w/ this forum ! I dont care ! But let me tell you something , those ten or fifteen seconds with Jackie will stay forever in my heart , you know what else ? this is the only place I've got to share it with ! So SUE me !

Wow Vahn, sounds like God is giving you a little dose of patience and longsuffering this morning. Showing you how to not let things get you so worked up you loose site of the fact that He is in control.

As far as where you type or post. You are welcome to share here all you want. See what others are getting out of your posting here, is that as Overseers of God's sheep, we have so much work to do in our own life to make us better for God to use. You are a witness that life isn't easy, but with God it is easier.
