Boy, is step 9 a hard pill to swallow or what ? Especially today !
But then again, God only speaks to me when He knows its going to register, and the only time it "register"s is when I need to hear it most.

When I first read the introductory paragraph , "not judging others" , which was, by the way, after a not so pleasant of encounter w/ a couple of people earlier today, the 1st thought that came to my mind was , "Hey, if it walks like a duck , quacks like duck , Im not calling it a girraffe OK ?"

So I call my sponsor on his cell - go through my mimimimi's right ? - Being himself , he goes "vahn I understand , you not wanting to call anyone a giraffe , but who do think you are calling anybody a duck to begin with ? "
Then, taking me down memory lane,(as usual) while I'm going yadayadayada holding the phone three feet away from me, all the while , through the excitment, I had paced myself right to my backyard , I hear this "FLAP", I turn around ,it standing him flapping his cell shut, right behind me ! He said that's what I thought you'd be doing , when you think you're in the right, you dont want to hear anyone else, now ,let's go in and see what else is what you're reading has to say" . I said something like "hey, you start your own garden on your own turf alright ?"

So we're in my study , both computers cranked up , each on own monitor , reading step nine .... together!!

What do Saints and Angels need to be saved from ? Absolutely nothing. It's sinners like me who where saved , not by works , knowledge or prayer, but for His Grace that I was saved, 'cause that's what He does !
My job is to PASS ON what He does and not DO what He does (spons's words) . Just like Grace is His so is Judgement.

I guess the rest is history ! Oh , on his way out, I asked my sponce if he wanted to borrow couple of bags of potting soil !?!?!?!

vahn, I laughed tonight. So you have this selective hearing thing going on huh? Bet you even do that with God too. Guess what? He's like your sponsor...He's gonna stay right there and keep on talking, just when you think you've escaped his words. No getting away from the job the Lord has planned for you. You just gotta remember that you are a sinner saved by grace who is now a vessell for the Lord to work. Gotta be willing, and also gotta be submissive to God. He is the one who works...you just be the one who is available for Him to work through...in other words your the shovel, and He is the hands that dig..

vahn brother, its so cool to see you and your sponser goin thru the studies together and exchanging thoughts etc

Just goes to show, that all is never what it seems on the surface. God's plans are usually much deeper than we ever realize, and when certain people cross our paths, its never coincidental, but a part of God's plan.

Keep movin ahead brother Many need what you already have...
