Day two MCFC study
Who am I? What a question to be answered. It's amazing when I begin to think of all the qualities God has blessed me with. I hear people tell me all the time, that I'm one of the most caring, compassionate people they have ever met. My employees tell me they love to work for me. They say I'm kind, I never yell at them, I never use foul words. They say I'm different. These are things I hear from others, but when I see myself, I feel unworthy of the talents the Lord blesses me with. You know someone told me yesterday, you must have God's direct cell phone number, because you are always receiving a blessing. Yes, I guess I do have the Lord's number, it's called prayer. I ask the Lord to use me for His glory, to witness and to serve HIM. I don't feel I deserve any recognition for my helping others. I don't want any really. I love to do things for others, without them ever knowing it was me. I want them to thank God and not me. I don't need thanks or praise. God blesses me, just by seeing someone in need smile. At my job, we are mostly a retirement community, and so we have many deaths every year. I give hugs to the new widows, and I offer them a smile and a kind word and they enjoy just coming to visit me when they are lonely. Today one of those widows repayed my kindness with some of their own, she brought me a bag of chocolate candy and said "would you be my Valentine." What a thrill I received by getting to say yes I would be delighted to be your valentine. Sharing my love and happiness for HIM with others. This is my happiness, this is me.

Wow, sis!! I had been told that you're a really sweet person, and I'm so glad to have this opportunity to get to know you better and find out for myself. Seriously, like you, I love helping people, but there are times when I feel I'm in way over my head. That kind of bothers me, even though I know I can't help it or do anything about it.
That is so awesome about the widow giving you chocolates and asking you to be her Valentine. Ever since I got saved, 15 years ago this Valentine's Day, Jesus has been my Valentine.
Love ya sis!
