Day 1 of MCFC Two by Two
I'm late posting this, and I do apologize. Because my partner hadn't yet started this study, I started it over so she and I could work on it together. Which is good, because I made some new notes about it.
Regarding Proverbs 27:6: "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful," I like what the lesson says about that. There have been times when one person would have another talk to me about something because the first one didn't want to hurt my feelings. That hurt more than if the first person would've talked to me directly, because I felt like I couldn't defend myself for whatever reason. I would much rather talk to the person directly, so we can talk things through.
About the "shame game." A lot of times I get these forwards in emails that supposedly test a person's faith in God. They say that if the forward isn't forwarded, it means the person is ashamed of Him. They even use the quote from Jesus: Mark 8:38: "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." I don't know; I don't think it's right for someone to test a person's faith like that, especially as often as it's done (every day or two). Am I wrong?

Hey sis,
I use to get those all the time, they get a lil crazy if you ask me. It seems to me that one is doing that for the wrong reasons cause God searches the heart of man so God knows my heart. Man likes to subject us to things to entrap us. God does not work that way, so there fore I started to delete all of those things and now I don't get any cause everyone knows I don't do the pass it on thing.
Cause what I do for the kingdom of God I want to do in secret, that way I will be rewarded in secret by my heavenly father not man. However this is totally up to each person as they discern the truth and listen to the voice of truth.
God bless ya sis

Hey love I'm so glad you have decided to start over and walk the steps again with me. Yay!!
Now, I totally understand about man trying to shame us for our faith. God knows our hearts, and it's not up to man to decide our heart, cuz in the end God's the one who we stand before, and account to.
Off we go to step two.
luv ya

Hello Loveiskind,
God bless you, dear sister
I wanted to address the topic of emails saying that one must forward or else they are not doing God's work or worse. Lies and curses and instilling shame on another is not Love.
For the most part, some of these types of emails have been initiated by the world. Within the document there is encoded a means of "feedback" -- a way for a person or company to obtain email addresses for other uses. Unfortunately, people have gotten so used to getting these types of emails, they have unwittingly continued the cycle of abuse. Too bad, I find it so very sad.
In Deuteronomy we find blessings and curses which come from following or not following the Law. Jesus came to fulfill the Law; therefore, we are no longer subject to the curses. The blood of Jesus has saved us from curses.
How sad that man now tries to use curses as a way of sending a so-called "kindness" message.
Jesus Saves!!! Thank You Jesus.
God bless you, Loveiskind.
Love and hugs,
Sister Mack
