Day one

Postby Pert » Mon Oct 15, 2012 8:54 pm

(heavy sigh)

I don't know what I'm doing here. Really. Gabby suggested I do this program and so I thought, "well, why not?" But as I read through the introduction and day one, which was kind of a lot to take in, and I started to think that maybe I shouldn't do this. I do want to please God, and I do want to live my life according to His will, but I don't know if I can do that. I've been struggling a lot lately with hearing God's voice, and I don't know what the heck I'm doing or where the heck I'm going right now. So why would I be someone that should lead anybody anywhere?

Many are called but few are chosen. I don't know which category I belong in. I'm having a hard time explaining what I want to say. So I think I'm done for right now.

You are doing the cccc? The cccc should come before other programs. It should be the first one in the list.

When we are saved, we accept Jesus as Lord. In this modern age, the concept of Lord isn't frequently understood. The Lord had full power over his subjects. He set his taxes and could pretty much determine everything about their lives.

We have free choice in our day to day lives. So, there are few who really truly acknowledge Jesus as their Lord on a continuing basis. Those who are really seeking succeed in some of the minutes and fail miserably in others. But we seek. We seek to know more and do more and be more of a vessel for Jesus. We seek to be able to fulfill our calling. We reach to be healed so that we become a more worthy vessel.

Seeking involves learning. When we are weak, then he is strong. And yet we need knowledge. It seems the Christian walk is full of oxymorons. Learn more so we can let go and let God better. Study so we can be led.

Why are you here? I know in my prayer life for years I heard, "What do you want?"

I kept answering that I wanted whatever God wanted for me. I kept waiting for God to plop an answer in front of me.

And the answer was in the question. "What are the desires of your heart? Where is the peace in your heart?"

What gives you peace? If nothing gives you peace - well the study should really help that.

God bless.

I did the CCCC program first, and completed it. So now I'm still confused, should I do that one again, or do something else before this one, or not do this one at all? So confusing....

There are a lot of studies. Did you do the optional studies in cccc? If not, then maybe you want to do those. Maybe you want to explore the list of studies. And maybe the Holy Spirit studies would be good.

God is in the peace. Confusion is the opposite. You need to keep seeking no matter what - but there are a lot of ways of doing that.

Try looking at different studies and praying and listen to your heart.

God bless you.

Hello Pert (((hugs)))

God bless you this day.

All God's children are called, even though for most of us, our inadequacies overwhelm us and try to convince us otherwise, and let us not forget to mention the enemy of our soul, who is always throwing thoughts of doubt and defeat at us.
The awesome thing is, it is not of ourselves that we serve The Lord, but it is through God Himself in us that we serve. :) Yeah!!! He'll not ask us to do anything that He'll not first give us the power...His power...to do it. Thank You Lord \o/ \o/ \o/

So, Pert, hang on to that love He has given you, and hang on to that desire to do for Him, and partake of the truths shared in the Many Called Few Chosen study, and I and others will be here to encourage you. And, remember too, The Holy Spirit is right there with you, always. He'll guide you into all Truth.

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack

I didn't do every study that was within the CCCC program, but I did do the ones I thought were most pertinent to me. If it's all the same, I'm going to at least finish this one, since I've started it. Thank you for the support.
