hello, all!! i greet you in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.
i need help wading thru. God has for the last year given me more information on basic christian doctrine than i ever knew was out there. not because i doubt, because i have never doubted things like the Trinity, the deity of Christ, the Holy Spirit, Calvary, spiritual gifts, etc. i just took the bible at its word. today as i prayed i felt that HE wants to take me into an outreach and deliverance ministry, but i don't want to do anything in the flesh. i hav prayed and prayed earnestly that the Word in me would be sufficient to give to others. i don't quite understand all that's happening right now, and i don't have another source to ask. ( i can feel the tears welling up) i love JESUS so much, i want to be pure and holy and bring HIM glory with my life. as i am searching for HIS will for me, i don't want to miss an open door, or pry open a window by leaning on my own understanding.
how shall i proceed?

Hey huelsingbroad, I want to suggest that you roceed with prayer, and the seeking of God's Word. Often we can find the answers we want by seeking them.

I want to encourage you to step out...even if it feels a tad out of your comfort zone. Ask anyone that works for God, when does the nervousness go away...and they will tell you...only in the presence of the Lord...when one is within His will and they have PEACE...peace means God's will....and if you don't have that peace...then you might want to spend more time in prayer and to check your thoughts to make sure they are God's way and not that of your own..

May God Bless you as you seek His will. Be patient...He has a plan.

as i read posts on this site, the tearful stories of those who are hurting, i hav no doubt tht this is my calling. speaking to those who are broken, bringing comfort to those who hurt, calling to remembrance those whose zeal has grown cold. i know that somewhere in giving that out is my identity, my mission for HIS glory. i may not know all, but i know what i know and i am fully pursueded that the burden i feel for those who have broken down on the highway to heaven, or have abandoned their vehicles, or are hitch-hiking i am to be an emergency responder to help them get going again.
