The Planting of the Lord!
Hello Christianity Oasis, all...
Blessings!
Isa.61
[3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Luke.8 (13)...[15] But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Many fail to recognize and understand that the fruitful Christian lives the Life of God out of the heart where the Word of God has been sewn, not out of the soul which is in the process of being saved as we yield to God's Work of Love therein...the key words in the passages above being trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord... who bring forth fruit through patience.
The Christian growth cycle can be a hazardous journey, as it is written, that through much tribulation we must enter the Kingdom of God...Acts.14.22...and it is also written that it is through much tribulation that patience is born...that is how our Christian growth cycle is set and can be summed up in Paul's following words to us that keep on pursuing our Lord no matter what...Rom.5
[1] Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
[2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
[3] And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
[4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
[5] And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Count your blessings, saints, and glorify the Lord for the great love wherein He has loved us!
Blessings!

Love, in Christ Jesus, Saint701.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
