Christianity Oasis Forum

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Our Mighty Strength Through Faith in the Blood

Hello Christianity Oasis, All...

*AngelYellow* *Wave*
Blessings!

There's power in the blood...that ol' cliche has been around a long, long, time. Still, there's power, power, wonder working power, in the Bood, of the Lamb. There's power, power, wonder working power in the precious Blood of the Lamb...please notice that I capitalized "Blood." The reason I did so is because it is personified in the New Testament. It is a living force that, "Speaks better things than that of Able." It has a voice that speaks in Heaven. It is an immutable everlasting voice. It is forever, from everlasting to everlasting, an unshakable advocate that cannot be denied or overcome in any way whatsoever. It can't be silenced...and there is no end to its power to save all that believe God raised up Christ Jesus from the dead. The Blood of the Lamb is a mighty force in the believer that recognizes its significance, that is, the role it plays in the salvation of all that believe.

It protects everyone that walks after the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. I say... walks after the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus because walking after the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus means that we are walking after the Law of Love. We love our Heavenly Dad, our Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and one another. When we walk in love the Blood of the Lamb cleanses us of all sin.

It wasn’t all that many years ago that I choked each time I read that we are brought near to God by the Blood of the Lamb. I didn’t understand that the Blood of the Lamb is our peace with God, that it guarantees us safety when we enter into the Holy of Holies of God Almighty in Heaven. There isn’t a wall or partition that separates us from His wrath. He isn’t angry with us now, and hasn’t been since our Lord Jesus paid the price for our sins with His own blood. We can stand boldly before Him if we wish. In fact…the Apostle John made a statement about our relationship to God and one another that is indeed glorious to us! It gives God and our Lord Jesus great glory in this fact. We that were once hopeless…now have a great hope in the precious Blood of the Lamb!

Here is what John had to say to us.

1John.1

[3] That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

We are entitled to approach the Throne of Grace boldly to obtain mercy and grace when it is needed. We can all say amen to that! But lets look at what the Apostle John said above…fellowship… How Cool is that!!?? Is there anything on earth to be compared with a sit down discussion with our Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Lord God Almighty Love Dad? Can your imagine that? Just stroll right in and sit down with the Father of All Glory and all living. “Just wanted to drop in and let you know how much I love and appreciate you, just how much I adore and worship you and praise your Holy Name…and Dad…just wanted to get my assignment for the day and hop to it…such possibilities are endless!!

Remember what Paul the Apostle of our Lord said to us.

1Cor.2

[9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Well, exactly what is it that makes such a magnificent fellowship with God our Dad possible? It is the Blood of the Lamb. Haven’t you heard…there is power in the Blood?”

Love In Christ Jesus, Saint701.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
