Our Abrahamic Blessings

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Our Abrahamic Blessings

Postby saint701 » Fri Aug 06, 2010 1:28 pm

Hello All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

Good afternoon to you all in the wonderful name of our Savior, The Lord Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God, Who God the Father has made to us our Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Lord God Almighty Love Dad, and with Him in us co-rulers with Him in all things!

May the blessings of The Spiritual Kingdom overtake you today!

Blessings!

Whew! Glory Lord! My goodness! We just praise you today! We worship you today! We love and adore you this day! We give thanks to you this day! We give you all the glory this day! And Dad, we praise your Holy Name, always, in all ways this day we do pray! Amen! And Amen!
Our Lord's spiritual manna love bread topic of the day is on the Kingdom of Heaven spiritual dynamic of investment. Such isn't easy to explain unless we have had our eyes first opened to see how things are multiplied by our Lord, especially Him, as our Bread of Life.

This is my body, broken for you, he tells us at that Last Supper. (Can we see just how many His broken body has fed since?) But prior to that he demonstrated His greater ability in multiplying what little we have to offer Him in His miracle multiplication of the loaves and fishes.

Now many have argued against such being possible, and we might be inclined to agree if that Bible sub-plot, (as with many others), hadn't been introduced a few thousand years earlier, and then worked out in further detail even beyond our Lord's death. Such is not possible either. Nevertheless, we believe. For Paul, being richly blessed with the spirit of wisdom and understanding in all further to be revealed about our Lord had this to say: (All Bible verse, KJV).
Gal.3

[16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Gen.22

[17] That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Heb.6

[14] Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

This spiritual dynamic of investment shown to Abraham some 5,000 years ago of that seed of his being blessed as the sands of the sea and stars of heaven remains to this day. Now that's investment!

Thus far we have seen that Abraham's seed was our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That it is through Him all of the blessings of Abraham such as multiplying I will multiply you, and your seed shall be as the sands of the sea and the stars of heaven belong to us. What we haven't seen thus far is that which Abraham invested that such blessings could come upon him. Was it a million dollars? Was it a thousand sheep skins? No, his investment was this, that he believed God. He invested himself.

Paul argues in Galatians 3 that the blessings of Abraham come upon us because of our faith in Jesus Christ. He argues such is because the seed, Christ, the true heir of Abraham's blessing died on the cross. But doesn't that leave Abraham without an heir we ask? No, because that seed was raised alive again! He was raised a star seed, a spiritual seed,

Rom. 1:4:
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Therefore, as Abraham believed God for His blessings, we now believe in Jesus the heir of those same blessings. What blessings? The multiplicity of sand and star blessings which includes all blessings both of that which is physical and that which is spiritual. In Romans 8 Paul tells us that because of our Lord's resurrection from the dead, if we believe in Him, the multiplicity that belongs to Him belongs to us! Why? Because He died for us! And He was raised for us! When He died, our old man died! When He was raised, we were raised! When He was glorified, we were glorified! When He sat down in heaven, we sat down in heaven! All things belong to us in Christ Jesus because we have entered into His resurrection life and power! We live in Him! That new spiritual life, that life of being born again of the Spirit, that life of being declared Sons of God with power!

Romans 8:
[17] And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

What does our Lord God Almighty Lord of Lords King of Kings Love Dad ask of us that we might receive the multiplicity of His blessings both now and forever? He asks that we believe In Him to the end! He asks that we invest the totality of our being, believing until the end!

Hi Saint you seem to be reading through some of the same things i've been reading also. :)

You said this...

No, his investment was this, that he believed God. He invested himself.

Abraham invested himself, now that is something to really thank on.

Hi Angel, All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

You are most welcome! Love ya! But we give all the glory to God because we believe we write what the Spirit of the Lord directs us to. What makes us happy is when others such as yourself witness to the Spirit's leading. Such really helps us to know that at this time we are close to the thoughts of our Lord.
