#3 Faith Priority! Keep It Clean!

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

#3 Faith Priority! Keep It Clean!

Hello All,

Blessings!

We keep our physical body strong by feeding it, exercising it, keeping it clean, protecting it, and resting it. Is our faith of no less importance? Seeing that to a large degree our eternal destiny rests on the keeping of it, such would seem good sense to do for our faith.

Heb.10

1. [35] Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
We need to ever believe strongly in the Lord.

To this point we have seen that we need to feed our faith and exercise it, but another important factor in keeping our faith is to keep it clean. If our adversary sees that our faith is strong and that he is in danger of being defeated, he will come at us with the intent to divert us away from that which we are believing for.

He will attempt to get us to exercise our faith for things that are not priorities for us. I met a very Godly lady on line a few months ago. We wrote back and forth about our faith in and love of the Lord. Then one day I received a message from her that she was broken hearted because she was unable to land the man of her dreams, that all the men she seemed to fall in love with on line had less than honorable intentions.

Now this lady was and still is very dedicated to the Lord in serving Him, but our adversary had managed to convince her that she needed a man in the midst of her soul winning walk with the Lord and in so doing brought much sorrow into her heart. I gently reminded her that as servants of the Lord, we must first lose our lives entirely for Him in order that we might find our life.

She understood, made a quick adjustment in the exercise of Her faith, and quickly brought many into the Kingdom of God. We must keep our faith clean. Our Lord knows our needs.

Galatians 6:

[9] And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Let us keep our faith clean.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
