Keeping the Mind Renewed

Hi All,
Blessings!
Ain't the Lord good! He always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus! Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers us out of them all! Whew! Glory! Hallelujah! Praise you Father! Love You! Adore You! Give thanks to You!
Was wondering what the next post was going to be when such landed in the form of the following scriptures.
1John.2
[6] He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
What amazes me is how explosive His Word is when He is the one opening it up to our understanding. Rhema is powerful stuff! And abiding is a very powerful scripture. Many books have been written on abiding by many great men of God that learned the secret of their ministry of being that of simply abiding. But abiding is not simple.
Abiding is an extremely complicated application of grace that is administered to the life of a Christian by the Holy Spirit. One does not just decide to abide and wallah! Life is good. It is our Lord's grace that leads us to a place of abiding. And we can rest assured that if our walk has led us to a place of abiding in Christ, and we practice what we have been taught by Him, such grace will continue.
There is a contrast in the scriptures above. The first verse in context is for the mature man/woman of God. Such has to do with walking by faith, to walk as Jesus walked, by faith, not by the pocketbook. The second set of verses above are addressed to the young, but they also are being worked out in those older because there is no limit to what the Holy Spirit will teach us if we abide in both the anointing we first received, and in Jesus for He will ever lead us into deeper waters of abiding.
You know my greatest desire is to be made perfect in love. And Lord knows I am far from that. But I keep my eye on that prize because my Heavenly Dad is just that, pure love. So I try my very best to be in His love and walk in a love attitude toward others because such is the way of abiding. But it is His grace that is leading me in that direction. I know He is perfect love, the essence of what all love is. Without our Heavenly Dad showing us His grace and mercy and truth this planet would have long since perished. But because of His great love we have hope not only for ourselves, but for the rest of the planet.
His commandment to us is love, and most certainly we cannot of ourselves at all love like Him. But as we abide in Him, such love is not out of reach, but is developed by Him, cultivated in us continually until we reach the maturity of His perfection. He that has begun the good work in us will perform it to the end! He will bring us all to maturity, to His fullness, through His wonderful saving grace.
Blessings!

1John.2
[27] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
[28] And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
