Understanding evil in our world's governments
Hello All,
Blessings!
The significance of evil in our world's governments; part 1
Good day All. Are our eyes open to our Lord's Truth today? Are we capable of comprehending the nature of evil that surrounds us, the evil that permeates and controls many, an evil so great it plunges this world toward swift destruction?
Matthew chapter 4:8-10
[8] Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
[9] And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
[10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Matt.16
[23] But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Ok, do we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, or don't we? Believe is the operative word. We do not take it lightly, for it is on the basis of our belief that we are saved. Said belief acknowledges the truthfulness of and faithfulness of God. We have to believe that the words He has spoken to us are as true now as they were when He first said them. If He has lied to us we have no basis for our belief, and thus there is no heaven, no angels, no Almighty God. There is no hell, no demons, no devils, no fallen angels, and no Satan. All spirituality is sheer vanity and a worthless pursuit of creatures that only exist in man's imagination.
However, if God exists and He is all powerful, and 100% truthful, then how comes this evil on our world that to one degree or another touches every man? What purpose does it serve our Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Lord God Almighty Love Dad to allow such? Neither scholar, nor philosopher, nor wise man, nor theologian has been able to answer that question. Indeed scripture calls that question the mystery of iniquity, and wraps it up in the name, [b]Wicked,
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
