karebear journal day 14

It has been an interesting day today, and certainly a beneficial 14 days here. I was asking the Lord for someone to reach out to and help today, and, well it happened to be the people in my own home. I was able to work alongside my husband in a situation with one of our children, and then to also encourage my husband. It was good and the Lord was there with us.
As far as my 14 day journey, it has been a very good one. I have known a lot of what has been taught, but I also learned a lot along the way and was grateful to have the truth presented as it was. I'm a visual person, an artist, so the garden, the stepping stones, the weeds and the seeds worked well for me. I also have benefited greatly from the journal writing and the community. There is much work to be continued and I plan on using the tools and encouragement I have gotten here. I have been encouraged to continue on in the community, to work on another study, and I hope to do that.
I am hopeful for this new year, and that hope is a good thing. Jesus was very sweet to me this morning in service and I am always grateful for His tender love. I encourage anyone who is thinking about walking through the 14 days to do it. You have to do the work and sometimes it is hard, but the community here is very encouraging, insightful and uplifting. Open up to both God and others. Today is the first day of the rest of your life - start living it!
