Stepping stone #2

Step two is about patience. Why we are to do the steps one at a time. I often either too impulsive or impatient or I hold back too often. I like the analogy to weeding a garden and applying fertilizer. Too much at once can kill it. It's all in the mind. Satan's favorite playground. Attempting to bring us down from within. Weeding the garden of our mind has to be a daily process, getting them out as they emerge and as many as possible.
I'm in the process now of starting to learn to fend for myself. And the weeds are the frustrations brought about from the realities of life. Responsibilities I never had to handle myself before and asking for help when needed. It has to be the shame issue spreading into other areas of my life. For me, it's all mental, that mindset that needs to be shaken off. God bless Wonder.
