you know, moving up here to raleigh, i thought it would be good to start fasting a bit (never done it before but thought i would give it a try) reading my bible more, and praying more like i should. i thought that for my first week of moving up here i would really try to seek out God and try to get down into scripture to find out the nitty-gritty of what He wanted for my life. but i didnt. on top of that, i returned to a sin that i had agreed to do away with. i got distracted, by nothing. i tried searching thru some chat rooms and such, searching for opportunities to whitness, but i didnt find any luck. but then, just last night in the christianity oasis chat rooms, where i always hang out, a young man in there was looking for someone to talk to and another implored me to speak to him. his questions were genuine, and after talking to him and answering his questions, he was ready to accept God and re-dedicate his life. i could hardly belive it. after i had gone back on my own word, what i said i was going to do, God still gave me a chance to do some good. sometimes i just dont get God. i just dont understand Him at all or why He loves me the way He does. but i have to have faith that He still has got His hands on me, He proved that to me last night.

I don't always understand either, eph, but I thank Him every day for his everlasting love and grace! Keep Him in sight always and remember He is always giving us opportunities to learn from our falls :)

Thanks for sharing, eph and GBU in your witness to others!

Eph you're a great inspiration to us all.... you didn't let Satan get away with his dirty trick of trying to make you feel unworthy to serve the Lord. That's terrific! God's still working on all of us and in the meantime we need to keep up the work of the Kingdom for His honor and glory. Keep reaching out to the lost and stay humble. You're awesome little brother.

yes eph6man,

Fully understanding his love towards us is always hard to understand for me as well but this passage always starts a bubbling up of his love deep with in me

Romans 8:37-39 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are all so blessed to be loved by him each and everyday no matter the day will bring.

Stay His and be blessed
