Stepping Stone Five

Postby Ruths_daughter » Tue Jan 01, 2013 2:51 am

Tonight's lesson is on the blame game & on selfishness. I have learned a lot so far. I now leave a radio on in my room on K-Love all the time from lesson two? I think...

I learned tonight that the blame game would rather me find someone to pin my guilt on and make them responsible for it, rather than to look at my own part & my own responsibility in it. I need to look it squarely in the face, see why it happened, and it boils down to 1000 forms of fear (lacking of faith), selfishness, selfcenteredness, self-seeking, the self-isms.

I have been being unforgiving & I am selfish.
I have been entertaining lust issues & I am selfish.
I have been allowing gossip & I am selfish.
I have been unequally yoked by not being careful of those I date & I am selfish.

I pray God would help me to change those things, as that is not who I want to be.

May the Lord bless you & keep you in this new year of 2013.
Your new sister in Christ.

I'm selfish too. It will be a good day when we leave these self centered human bodies behind to join our family in Heaven.

Good work sis. Keep it up. :)
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
