Day 4- A work in progress

Postby LovingSheep » Wed Aug 29, 2012 2:44 am

Precious Lord, the day started off with such power and hope. But as I often do lately, I have failed and need to be forgiven. My faith has moved mountains and seen miracles, and the promises that you shared with me earlier are in my heart. Thank you for the glorious revelations and the beautiful photographs of what my life can and will be very soon. But why, oh, why, Lord, can't I make it last for more than a few hours?

The pain of my reality keeps creeping in, the battlefield is filled with blood and broken pieces of my life and soul. This war rages on, and the mental and physical exhaustion are overwhelming me again. I plead the Blood of Jesus over our lives, that your Holy Spirit will carry us through the next few days of life-altering circumstances. Let us remember that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

Send us help, from heaven and earth, and rescue your humble servants from the fiery pit. Remove the blocks and crippling issues that surround us, cleanse us of our sins and allow us to truly forgive those who have failed us. In time, may they also know the true meaning of forgiveness for what we have done to them.

Give us strength, Father, for this battle is too great for us. Return to us the peace that passes all understanding and show us the miracles we claimed today in Jesus' mighty Name. Your loving servant.

Amen!
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
