Day 2

Postby Chasingcars4life » Fri Jul 27, 2012 12:17 am

Day 2 and I am feeling good in this moment but today seemed a struggle for me. I felt weak in my walk of faith. Run down and yearning for the warmth and love from my husband. Wanting so much for this transformation to be instantaneous but knowing that this two shall pass...only if I walk with the one who can save me and cast all these demons away from me, my saviour, our saviour! So many years of living a dark sinful life that at times it almost feels impossible to live any other way. But I know that its impossible without the Lord and without him I am so very lost. I will bath myself in beautiful Christian music before I rest my head and start a new day tomorrow. As I lay here surrounded by pictures of my beautiful son and gorgeous husband... Remembering what I have lost due to living this sinful life. It is then I will pray and rest... To begin a new life...

Hello ChasingCars :)

God bless you this day.

This is a long process -- a lifelong process -- your new life in Christ Jesus is eternal. Hallelujah!!!

Keep reading the study, and seeking The Lord with everything within you. He loves you so very, much.

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you, ChasingCars.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Hello Chasingcars4life, and Sister Mack,

Yes sis mack is right (but of course) *BigGrin*
This transformation...instant nope....atleast not for some such as you and I, I know you hear those that just change overnight and you think I want that for me, I just want to wake up and no longer do or want those bad things in my life
I'm still struggling with that one, but just as you trained yourself in doing these things now we MUST train ourselves to NOT do them and here's a little secret satan don't want you to know....he sit's and waits for our weak moments and POUNCHES!! that time when we feel "WHY BOTHER" or "who will it hurt" or even worse "no one will know"
WRONG WRONG and WRONG. answers God, God and for sure GOD!
Those moments are our weak moments that we need to go to God and say hold me Lord
Just as you are doing with the prayer, Christian music and the pictures of who needs you to heal and be a part of thier life.
keep doing as you are and read the studies as well and do not allow satan to sneak in and belittle all the good you ARE doing.
In those prayers always ask the Lord to not only heal you of the past but to also heal as well as soften the heart of your husband, and I pray He will heal the love between you like it has never been before.
God bless
Cuc
LET GO AND LET GOD!!

I just wanted to say that I can sympathize greatly with you. You really can live another way, but it will not be instant. I am under the impression that in most cases (not all) what you put into changing your life is what you get. If you change instantly, then you most likely will not have fully dealt with the issue or owned up to all the consequences you have to move on. This just leads to a temporary fix. Do not be discouraged because God will not give us anything we cannot handle, and any journey worth taking is worth taking the right way. He will see you through it, and from reading your posts I can tell you are motivated and serious at changing yourself. God knows that and loves you enough that he wants the best for you. Have patience and faith and know that we are praying for you.
